ALEXA KING

Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Victoria started songwriting at the age of eight. She kept her notebook and pencil close, as there was no telling of when inspiration will strike. Determined to excel in multiple music fields, she quickly learnt how to sing and play her favourite instrument, the piano. Within a few years, she performed professionally in over 20 venues and directed a concert built entirely around her original music. The show was a chance for her to grow, and she wrote for many artists from America, Malaysia, Indonesia, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, gaining international acclaim.

To educate herself further, Victoria was trained and certified from various respected schools, including Berklee College of Music, American Music and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), Point Blank Music School, and Garnish Music School. Among her many work experiences, she's recorded original music in award-winning studios such as EastWest Studio (Los Angeles) and engineered for indie bands at Lynchmob Studios (London). She's also received a private 1-2-1 mentor session with legendary U2 and Rolling Stones record producer Steve Lillywhite. It was at that moment; she heard one advice that changed her life:

'Don't create something you've already heard.'

Growing up, she couldn't stop listening to Timbaland, Rihanna, Pussycat Dolls, and Muse. She was obsessed with the hip hop attitude, the pop catchiness, and the rock power. Victoria believed that the combination of all three was the 'ultimate king move' and spent years perfecting that very sound. Alongside those acts, she admires incredible songwriters such as Max Martin, Eminem, and funnily enough, ABBA! They were prominent role models throughout her life, and their music taught her the true art of detail. She knew that music was more than just sound. It was about telling a story through lyrics, melodies, flow and rhythm.

In 2020, Victoria experienced painful losses that ultimately fed into her inner creativity. She began writing magazine music reviews, works as a part-time A&R, and most prominently built her stage name 'Alexa King' by launching a successful YouTube reaction channel. She also joined forces with college friend Charlie and became ½ of the emerging duo act, LXDEE, leading her straight to Ferocious Talent's arms. Although she's embraced music all her life, the real journey has only just begun.

CHARLIE LESLIE

Hi, I'm Charlie. You're probably wondering how I got here, well let's start from the beginning. My upbringing in Perthshire, Scotland was enveloped by music, starting with my parents putting on classical music for me as a baby (clearly worked wonders)! While I find it hard to pin-point my favourite musical acts, I can easily say what shaped me into the writer and producer I am today.

My dad gave me the soundtrack to “Gladiator” as a kid and the emotion told through the music of Hans Zimmer sent sparks flying in my brain. While I was conducting orchestras in my little head I was also religiously listening to bands like Fall Out Boy, their early albums are filled with some of the best songwriting I’ve heard in pop music (in my opinion of course). My early teens were consumed by EDM and that is where I discovered the artist Savant, his innovative writing and production combines multiple era’s of classical music and many genres of EDM, to this day I hear something unique whenever I revisit his music and that is a true testament to his virtuosity.

But what about my music? Well, the first experience I had of electronic music production was coming across legends like ‘The Prodigy’ and 'Daft Punk', then fresh sounds from underground artists like 'Skrillex' really caught my attention, making me ask “how did they do that?”. I became obsessed with production and writing, I was that one friend who showed off the 16-bar loop they made in Garage Band at any available opportunity. Seeing the passion I displayed my parents enrolled me into a week-long ‘Music Production’ course at Point Blank Music School in London, where I later achieved a 1st Class BA Hons for “Music Production and Sound Engineering” in 2020. This is how my artist project ‘MVMMOTH’ came to be.

Along with electronic music production, I was developing as a drummer, performing a mix of styles (incl. jazz, rock and folk) in various venues across Scotland as a session performer. During this time I was accepted to study higher education at Point Blank Music School, Berklee College of Music and BIMM for my musical ability. Opting to study at Point Blank in London I became engrossed by the prominent Hip-Hop scene, producing beats and co-writing for various artists that I met and studied with, even gaining notoriety as the producer for Slovak artist Alan Murin.

As my career has grown I have been very fortunate to meet many fantastic musicians and people in the music industry, and the one bit of advice that stuck with me was - “Be positive, be humble, say yes to every opportunity you get and deliver to the best of your ability.”

LOUISE HARRIS

Louise Harris is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Hertfordshire. She understands Pop. As an artist, Louise has 120K Spotify streams on her debut single, over 250,000 views on a TikTok video of her performing her second single, and she has been featured on Tom Robinson's BBC Radio 6 Introducing Mixtape, where he compared her song 'dating me is like a Cambridge term' to "the revenge songs of Bob Dylan and Lily Allen".

With a warm, distinctive vocal tone and authentic writing style, DJs and producers often ask Louise to write and sing toplines for their tracks. 'Make It Right' (ØZKAR) and 'Summer Sound' (Weisser Quiff) are Louise's only released toplines so far, however there are several more to come.

Having grown up listening to a range of artists, including Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, Etta James and James Arthur, Louise has a very versatile songwriting skillset. RYDER AGOLLI

Ryder's love for music started when he first came across a piano in a friend's home. Thousands of hours of piano lessons later, alongside a music degree from King's College London and his love for all things 90’s R&B & Hip-Hop, led to him playing regular live gigs at venues such as Mighty Hoopla Festival, Birthdays Dalston, Colours Hoxton, and Sofar Sounds. He has also produced for Lowkey, Awate, BINA, and Davina Oriakhi.

This time also saw him put together live R&B and Hip-Hop events as part of The Welcome Party, which included shows at Birthdays Dalston and a sold-out show at Folklore.

Ryder came to me as a person who just loved making beats… Luckily for us at Ferocious, we have been able to take what he does and find a natural home for his backing tracks with different artists. We love what he is doing, new artists love what he is doing. That’s all we care about!

Paul Schulze is 22 years old and studied music at the acclaimed Point Blank Music School in London, home of Producer and DJ Dance artists like Felix Jaehn, Klingande and Patrick Topping.

Kwame Kwaten MD of Ferocious Talent says, "Paul’s energy was what first attracted us as a management company to him. He was focused and driven but most of all his ear for a hook and sound design was amazing for somebody so young. Paul clearly creates music that has emotion, depth but is also joyous. He is a true talent.”
